Larry J. Nicholson, 65, passed away on November 26, 2010 after a 2 year struggle with Cancer. Larry was born in Anderson, IN on August 1, 1945. He graduated from Madison Heights and worked for Indiana Gas Company for 19yrs, Vectren, Sigma and retired from McJunkin August 1, 2008.
Larry is survived by wife Janice (McFarland) Nicholson; Brothers, Don (Judy) Nicholson and Tom (Lois) Nicholson; Aunt Margarette; mother-n-law, Odetta McFarland; sister-n-law, Brenda (Ron) Scott;
Children, Joseph Cole (Lori) Nicholson, Sheila (Mike) Dollens, Lynn Nicholson, Tom (Alicia) Alberts, Neal (Brandi) Alberts, Rusty (Kris) Alberts; Grandchildren, Richie & Rachel, Jayme & Krystina Dollens, Tori Melton, Tia Rose, Katie & Kassie Alberts, Logan & Landon Alberts, Makaylea, Keanna & Jayce Alberts;
Nieces/nephews, Rob Nicholson (family), Adam Nicholson (family), Wendy Nicholson, Todd Nicholson and special niece Ashlee (Bryce) Burks.
He is preceded in death by parents by Elvin J & Audrey (Gooding) Nicholson, son Matt J. Nicholson and father-n-law Harold Thomas McFarland.
The family would like to extend special thanks to The Community Cancer Center, Dr. Naqvi and staff, Community Hospital third floor quick trip nurses and staff, St. Johns Hospice, and special friends Rick (Nancy)Turner.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 1216 Meridian St., Anderson, IN 46016 and/or Multiple Sclerosis Society.

please accept my condolences for your loss. i really know how mch grief you are going thru right now, as i have been there too. if any thing i can d for you, please let me know, to each member of his family, i did not know him all that well, but i do know janice and i know how much she cared for him. just remember all the good times and know he is not gone , but in a better place where we will see him again, god bless each and every one of the family, love cousin hazel laidlaw rest in peace larry

Janice, We are sorry to hear about Larry. The last time we saw you was at the Casino and Larry was at a machine and we were all talking. He was telling us about Live Casino and we sure enjoyed talking with both of you.
